Zorlu Energy has completed the sale of its minority stakes in natural gas power plants in Israel, fully terminating all electricity generation and sales operations in the region.

Zorlu Enerji has achieved remarkable global recognition for its sustainability efforts, securing the 2nd* position among 338 companies in the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance assessment conducted by the international financial analysis and reporting organization LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), with a score of 89. The company also improved its ESG score in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment — one of the most reputable ESG data platforms — raising it from 49 to 74.

Using energy efficiently not only helps reduce utility bills but also contributes to decreasing Turkey’s overall energy demand. Highlighting that inefficient energy use accelerates the depletion of natural resources, increases environmental pollution, and contributes to global warming, Zorlu Enerji Osmangazi Electricity Retail has shared practical energy-saving tips for homes and workplaces as part of Energy Efficiency Week, celebrated between January 6–12 this year.

With its environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) practices, Zorlu Enerji ranked 2nd among 338 companies with a score of 89 in an assessment conducted by the international financial analysis and reporting organization LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group). Additionally, the company raised its score to 74 in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment, one of the most established ESG data platforms in the sector.

Continuing its operations with the goal of a sustainable future in line with its Smart Life 2030 vision, Zorlu Enerji was honored with three separate awards at the Communitas Awards for its projects rooted in both social and environmental awareness.
