Our Employees, the Source of Our Strength

Our Energy is Carried to the Future with Women!

With our FutureFem project, we aim to empower women in the energy sector and support their career journeys. By bringing together young women studying engineering and social sciences at universities, we offer a comprehensive training program focused on sustainability and the energy sector.
In this intensive five-week program, participants receive training from experts on topics such as Innovation in Renewable Energy, Supply Chain, R&D and EU Projects, and Sustainability. They reinforce their knowledge through specially designed digital content on Zorlu Academy. While developing themselves with personal development programs and interactive workshops, they gain inspiration for their careers during meetings with our senior executives. At the end of the program, they present the projects they have prepared to our executives, build professional connections, and take a strong step into the sector.
We match all participants with our team of volunteer mentors composed of our managers, providing mentoring support.

With FutureFem, we are not only promoting equal opportunities but also building a more sustainable and inclusive future in the energy sector.


AÇEV – Father Support Program 2024

Equality Begins at Home!

In line with our gender equality goals, we are implementing the Father Support Program in collaboration with AÇEV (Mother Child Education Foundation).
With this program, we aim to ensure that fathers participate in their children's development more consciously and actively. Our goal is to raise awareness about parenting roles, strengthen family dynamics, and build healthier relationships.

Participants who successfully complete the program adopt an egalitarian approach within the family and become pioneers of sustainable social transformation.
As Zorlu Enerji, we continue to support equality not only in the workplace but also within the family.


International Women in Engineering Day – 2024

Women Make a Difference in Engineering!

On International Women in Engineering Day, we bring together nearly 40 future women leaders studying at engineering faculties.
At this event, organized with our vision of sustainability and gender equality, participants meet with industry professionals and academics to discuss the innovative, creative, and bold perspectives women bring to the engineering sector.

On this special day filled with inspiring success stories, we also discuss solutions to increase women’s presence in engineering. At the end of the event, we crown this meaningful day with a donation to Darüşşafaka on behalf of the future women engineers.

We believe in the strong presence of women in engineering and are proud to be a source of inspiration for them.

  • Coaching and Mentoring: Through our internal and external mentoring programs, our experienced employees share their knowledge to guide young talents, facilitating their career journeys, accelerating learning processes within the company, and supporting their integration into the corporate culture.

  • Leadership Development Programs: We invest in future leaders by offering leadership training programs tailored to different management levels through platforms like LinkedIn Learning.

  • Cultural Awareness: Our training portfolio includes sessions that aim to raise awareness on diversity, equity, and inclusion, encouraging a respectful and inclusive work environment.

  • Digital Transformation Training: We strengthen our employees' digital competencies with e-learning modules and hands-on training in topics such as data analytics, cybersecurity, and next-generation technologies like artificial intelligence.


Scope and Impact of the Programs

All our programs are designed to include permanent, contracted, and part-time employees.

The effectiveness of these programs is monitored through performance indicators such as training hours per employee and internal promotion rates and is publicly shared in our sustainability reports.

Labor Practices

Our company implements comprehensive workforce programs to ensure that all our employees are employed under dignified, fair, and safe working conditions. The practices and policies we adopt within this framework are grouped under the following headings:

We offer our employees wages that are at least aligned with the cost of living in the relevant region and sectoral benchmarks.

Working hours, including overtime, are regularly monitored through human resources systems and evaluated in terms of occupational health.

All our employees receive their overtime payments in full and on time, in accordance with legal regulations.

In order to improve working conditions, regular dialogue processes are conducted with employee representatives and their feedback is taken into consideration.

To reduce wage disparities between male and female employees, gender-based wage analyses are conducted, and equal pay for equal work policies are applied.

In addition to public benefits, we provide employees with extra social protection advantages such as private health insurance, individual pension contributions, and family support programs.

All annual leave entitlements of our employees are monitored by the Human Resources department, and their utilization is encouraged.

To mitigate risks arising from industrial transformation and climate transition, we offer retraining, upskilling, and internal trainer programs for our employees.
