As a pioneer in renewable energy, Zorlu Enerji continues to build on its international success with its strong sustainability performance. In the 2025 ESG assessment carried out by the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) based on 2024 financial data, Zorlu Enerji received a score of 92 out of 100 across environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria. With this score, the Company ranked first among 346 reporting companies worldwide in the Electric Utilities and Independent Power Producers category, confirming its position as a global leader.
Strong global performance across Environmental, Social and Governance dimensions
Zorlu Enerji stood out in the LSEG assessment with its balanced and high performance across all environmental, social and governance pillars. The Company achieved its highest score in the Environmental category, with 96 points, driven by its efforts to combat the climate crisis and its effective resource management strategies. In the Social category, Zorlu Enerji received 90 points, demonstrating best-in-class performance globally, particularly with a score of 99 in Product Responsibility and 93 in the Community category. Zorlu Enerji also achieved 90 points in the Governance category, reflecting its transparent and accountable management approach. With a score of 98 in the Management category, the Company once again demonstrated its strong governance structure and high level of corporate maturity.
