Zorlu Energy's fast charging stations offer non-stop travel

Zorlu Energy's new generation technology brand ZES (Zorlu Energy Solutions) has set up 9 fast charging stations on the most frequently used roads in Turkey and will allow electric vehicle owners to travel without paying a charging fee during the launch period. During the Eid holiday, electric vehicle drivers will be able to charge their cars for free when resting at the electric charging stations located on the road between Istanbul-Izmir, Ankara-Izmir and Istanbul-Ankara.

Following Turkey's first fast charging station it installed at Zorlu Center, Zorlu Energy's new generation technology brand ZES (Zorlu Energy Solutions) has accelerated the installation of electric vehicle fast charging stations, which will contribute to the development of the electric vehicle ecosystem in Turkey.

ZES set up charging units at the O3, O37 and O68 way stations along the Istanbul-Izmir highway. The ZES electric vehicle charging stations started to provide services at “Bozüyük-Sarar Outlet and “Susurluk-Festiva”’ on August 15. As a continuation of these investments, the number of ZES electric vehicle charging stations will increase to 9 with the three stations to be installed at the “Afyon-Kolaylı Way Station,” “Uşak-Festiva,” and “Bolu- Highway”.

Having installed Turkey's fastest charging station at Zorlu Center, ZES increased the number of vehicles that can be charged at the same time through the system to 40 with its new installations, and it will enable electric vehicle owners to non-stop travel freely in the İstanbul-İzmir-Ankara triangle during the Eid holiday.

It is incredibly easy for electric vehicle drivers to be recognized by the ZES system and receive higher quality service; all they have to do is download the ZES App and fill out the request form. Through the system, which offers a card and membership free of charge, users can complete subscription procedures, view the locations of charging stations, and access them through a navigation system using the ZES App.

Drivers can also fill out the form on www.zes.net or call the ZES Call Center at 0850 339 99 37 to request and obtain a ZES Card.

The cards are customized for ZES users and are centrally sent to their owners within two days after they submit their request. ZES users may visit the website or mobile app to obtain information about the system and services and subscribe. They can also receive live support from the call center on technical issues when necessary.

ZES, which offers two kinds of charging stations, normal (AC-22kW) and fast (DC-100kW), allows for charging between 30-60 minutes at fast charging stations depending on the vehicle type and model. The charging stations are capable of providing service to four vehicles at the same time.

ZES, which aims to offer comfort and speed to drivers during Eid with its fast charging stations on the routes between the three big cities of Istanbul-Ankara-Izmir, has 40 standard-speed (22kW) charging stations in various provinces. Having launched its first and fastest charging station at Zorlu Center, ZES aims to increase its number of charging stations to over 100 by the end of the year.
