Renewable Energy Ratio
Since our energy production journey began in 1993, 87% of our domestic installed capacity has been sourced from renewable energy. Our goal is to achieve an installed capacity that is 100% derived from renewable energy sources.
CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) Climate Change Program
To combat the effects of the world’s most significant environmental issue, the Climate Crisis, we invest in renewable energy sources. We measure, verify, and transparently share our carbon footprint, performance, strategy, and targets with our stakeholders through the CDP platform. Our goal is to expand this performance across all our group companies in the coming years and achieve A-level reporting.
CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) Water Program
In parallel with the Climate Crisis, we measure and verify our water footprint, the fundamental source of life and production. We transparently share our performance, strategy, and targets in water management with our stakeholders through the CDP platform. Our goal is to expand this performance across all our group companies in the coming years and achieve A-level reporting.
Lost Time Injury
Ensuring the health and safety of our most important stakeholders, our employees, is one of our top priorities. After the establishment of the independent QHSE Department in 2018, which reports to the CEO, we have implemented management systems, documentation, site inspections, digital management platforms like QDMS, and provided detailed online training via Enokta to reduce workplace accidents. We aim to achieve zero lost time injuries in the coming years.
ESG Performance
As Zorlu Enerji, our shares are traded on BIST, and in line with SPDK requirements and our transparency principle, we share our sustainability performance with our investors. This is done through evaluations conducted by independent rating agencies such as S&P Global, Sustainalytics, Bloomberg, etc.
