That “Processing of data is necessary, provided that this processing shall not violate the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject” as per subparagraph (f) of paragraph 2 of Article 5 of the Law.

 

 

 

        2.Parties to which Personal Data may be Transferred and Purpose of Transfer

Within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, your personal data may be shared in the forms indicated below for the purposes of evaluating and finalizing your job application and planning human resources policies and processes.

  • If your job application process progresses positively, your data may be shared with our business/solution partners within the scope of conducting foreign language assessments and online interviews.
  • In cases where we are obliged by the legislation, your personal data may be transferred to legally authorized public institutions and private persons.
  • If you have given your consent, your personal data may be shared with Zorlu Enerji Group Companies, Osmangazi Elektrik Perakende Satış Joint Stock Company and Zorlu Holding Joint Stock Company in order to be included in the candidate pool within the scope of conducting employee candidate evaluations and to ensure that you benefit from job opportunities that may be suitable for you at the relevant companies and thus to ensure that you can work in the most suitable position for you.

 

        3. Method of Personal Data Collection

In order to evaluate your job application, your personal data is collected electronically through online career portals, e-mails, online interviews, foreign language tests in case your job application progresses positively, interviews held within Zorlu Enerji Group Companies in a physical environment or job application forms delivered by hand, and in accordance with the Law, in line with the personal data processing conditions specified below.

 

        4.Retention Period of Personal Data

Our Company will store personal data for the period required by the above-mentioned processing purposes and for the periods specified in the relevant legislation. Additionally, should a dispute arise, our Company will store your personal data limited to the purpose of putting up the necessary defense within the scope of the dispute and during the statute of limitations determined in accordance with the relevant legislation.

 

        5.Measures and Commitments Regarding Data Security

Our Foundation undertakes to take the necessary technical and administrative measures and have the necessary audits conducted to warrant the appropriate level of security to ensure

o          personal data is not processed unlawfully,

o          personal data is not accessed unlawfully,

o          the preservation of personal data.

 

Our Foundation will not disclose the personal data it has obtained to anyone else in violation of the legal regulations regarding the Disclosure on the Processing of Personal Data and will not use it for purposes other than processing.

 

        6.Rights of Data Subjects and Exercise of These Rights

We would like to inform you that pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, you have the following rights:

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed or not,
  • Request relevant information if your personal data is processed,
  • Learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether or not it is used for the intended purposes,
  • Know the third persons inside or outside the country to which your personal data is transferred,
  • Request the rectification of the incomplete or inaccurate data, if any, and to request the notification of such transaction to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
  • Request the deletion or destruction of personal data although it has been processed in accordance the Law and the provisions of other laws in the event that the reasons requiring their processing cease to exist, and to request the notification of such transaction to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
  • Object to any unfavorable outcomes against you as the data subject since the processed data was exclusively analyzed by automated systems,
  • Request compensation for your damages in case you incur damages due to the processing of your personal data in violation of the law.

 

You may submit your requests regarding these rights to Levent 199, Büyükdere Caddesi, No:199 34394 Şişli - İSTANBUL in writing, or to zorluenerji.ik.isealim@zorlu.com via secure electronic signature, mobile signature or, if any, via the e-mail address you have previously notified Zorlu Enerji Group Companies of and which is registered in the systems of our Company. Your request will be evaluated and assessed within 30 (thirty) days. Although it is essential not to charge any fee for the requests, our Company’s right to charge a fee over the fee tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board is reserved.
