Zorlu Hydroelectric Electricity Generation

Zorlu Hidroelektrik Enerji Üretim A.Ş. (Zorlu Hidroelektrik), is established in 2007 to commission hydroelectric power plants and to generate electricity energy from all kinds of renewable energy sources and to retail the generated energy. 

Electricity generation license of Sami Soydam Sandalcık Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant with a capacity of 127,8 MWm / 124 MWe which Zorlu Enerji planned to build in Denizli, is transferred to Zorlu Hidroelektrik by EMRA’s decision dated 7 June 2012 and number 3870/3, in accordance with number 4628 on Energy Market Law and relevant legislation.

By 2016, electricity generation license for Sami Soydam Sandalcık Dam and Hydroelectricity Power Plant is amended boosting the installed power capacity from 127,8 MWm/124 MWe to 130,801 MWm/125,866 MWe.

Zorlu Enerji continues its endeavor with a quarter-century experience on hydroelectricity energy for a sustainable Turkey.
